Saalbach and Hinterglemm are well-known ski resorts located 4 kilometers each other in the Glemm Valley. Nearby is the old Austrian village of Leogang. This region is considered one of the best for skiing or snowboarding. Every year more than a hundred thousand tourists from all over the world come here. Slopes along with the slopes and structures of the ski lifts form a "mountain amphitheater": the gentle slopes turn into steep slopes, and vice versa. In the northern part of the area is equipped for fans of freeride.

The nearest transport hubs are in Salzburg, Innsbruck and Munich. But most travelers come from Vienna airport. Most charter flights arrive here.
