Transfer Charleroi airport - Brussels center: on the way out we took a random cab spending 200€. GetTransfer allowed us to spend only 60 on the return instead, with a driver who was very punctual (in fact, early!), friendly, helpful and professional. Fast payment and very efficient communication with the driver. Based on our experience I recommend him without any doubt!

First of all I like punctuality, I really appreciate it. I ordered a car with a driver in this company for a certain time and in a specific place. My wishes were fulfilled very accurately! Thank you for that. The system of the transfer order is implemented very conveniently and competently: 1. I left the application, indicated the place, time, date, chose the type of car. 2. I got a call to clarify some details. 3. I paid for the trip. I liked that it is possible to choose among various electronic payment systems. The data on my trip to me was sent to the post: car make, license plate, driver's name. When I arrived at the airport, the car with the driver was already waiting for me. The driver helped me with the luggage and we drove off. I know the city very well, but he showed me several bypasses where it is possible to save time and not stand in traffic jams. The car is in good condition, the cabin is clean, the driver is polite and did not bother me with talking. You know, when you sit in a taxi, then many taxi drivers constantly impose their topics on you. There was no such situation here. I put five balls on the following criteria: punctuality, cleanliness of the cabin, correct driver behavior. Thank you.

Brilliant service, our driver was always on time, super friendly and attentive to our needs. Asking if we wanted water, air con on or off etc. Can't beat this service, I would highly recommend to anyone.

Barcelona is a city with a unique atmosphere, plunging into which you are distracted from worries. The Mediterranean climate, ancient architecture, delicious food and hospitable people attract more than a million tourists a year. Allow yourself to spin in the bright and fascinating rhythm of the big city.

How to get there?

Barcelona Airport accepts international, domestic and charter flights. It is located 13 kilometers from the city. There are several options to get to the center:

Where to stay?

Barcelona is a hospitable and sunny city, where there is a place for every traveler. We recommend booking rooms for a few months so that you can find for yourself the option that will appeal more than anyone else.

The Oriente Atiram Hotel (Calle la Rambla, 45) was built in the 19th century. The building is made in the Art Nouveau style: special attention is attracted by its facade, as well as vintage stairs and a glass dome in the center of the hall. Every morning a delicious breakfast is served for guests. In 5-10 minutes walk from the theater Liceo, Plaza Catalunya, boutiques, restaurants and bars.

Chic Basic Born (Calle Princhesa street, 50-52) is built in the most fashionable district of Barcelona, in El Born. Its peculiarity lies in unusual interiors: bright colors, textures, mixing of styles, ceilings with a height of 7 meters and more. Non-chameleons with a cast-iron bath in the center - a distinctive feature of the hotel. Using the backlight, guests change the palette of the entire room. The Picasso Museum, the Palace of Catalan Music and the Ciutadella Garden are 15 minutes away by bike.

The most luxurious rooms are in El Palace (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 668) in the Eixample district. The furniture is made of precious wood, the bathrooms are made of marble. The beds are covered with silk sheets, and gilded chandeliers hang in the center of the room.

The Serhs Rivoli Ramblas (Calle la Rambla, 128) is a perfect example of a boutique hotel. The outer part of the building is made in the Catalan style, inside - art deco. The terrace overlooks the Gothic Quarter.

Where to go?

On the first day, start at La Rambla. From here, expensive ones lead to the main attractions. Since the 13th century, Bokeria has been working here - an old market in the country. At 8 kilometers from it is the theater Liseu XIX century. There are many rumors and legends about the building. It was built on the ruins of a destroyed monastery. Spaniards believe that evil spirits live in the theater walls. Go back to st. Rambla Capuchins, renting a car, and then you find yourself on the Royal Square. In the center stands the fountain "Three Graces" with fancy lanterns. To the left of the boulevard stands the Gothic Quarter. It is a labyrinth of streets. Buildings erected in the Middle Ages. Souvenir shops and cafes are open on the lower floors, the upper part is reserved for apartments.

The second day is devoted to the architecture of modernity. Head to the Eixample area. Its main street is Paseo de Gracia. Stroll through it to see the quaint “Quarter of Discord”, where the three most amazing buildings in the city were built:

The house of Lieo i Morera is an adornment of the Catalan modern: lattices, columns and figures of dragons made of marble create a single and harmonious ensemble of buildings.

The Casa Batlló is an unusual building in the quarter created by Antonio Gaudi. Balconies and towers are made of clay bones and skulls. There are no sharp corners inside, so each room smoothly flows into the other. Large windows let in a lot of light and create a sense of freedom. Gaudi was also involved in interior design, so all items have an unusual shape.

House Mila XX century built in the form of sea waves with wrought balconies in the form of algae. The building has no right angles and a central bearing wall, and in the house itself there are two spacious courtyards. Thus, in each room there is a window. On the roof of Mila there is a terrace and a small coffee shop.

10 minutes walk from the house is open the famous Park Guell. It is framed by “gingerbread” walls with a mosaic finish. Walk a little further and you will see a ladder of figures of snakes and lizards. Then follows the “Hall of 100 Columns” with a viewing platform. It is surrounded by undulating benches with gold and silver accents. Around the complex are flower gardens and recreated caves of raw stone. Take bus number 5 and in 15 minutes you will find yourself at the walls of the Expiatory Cathedral of the Holy Family. It was built in 1882 with donations. Psalms from the Holy Scriptures are carved on the walls of the temple. The building is unique: antique stained glass windows, columns and engravings everywhere. Spend the third day among magnificent palaces and fountains. Go to the Plaza of Spain, in the center of which rises a fountain with three facades. Nearby is Las Arenas, the former bullring. Opposite it there are two towers - copies of Venetian bell towers on Piazza San Marco.

On the mountain of Montjuic stands the National Palace of Catalonia. To the castle are wide staircases and fountains-cascades. In the evening, there are 9 searchlights, illuminating Mount Tibidabo. Inside the palace, the Museum of Art of Catalonia is open.

There at any stop, take the bus number 128, number 111 or L1, which takes you to the Temple of the Sacred Heart at the top of Tibidabo. Its construction lasted 59 years. The cathedral is divided into three parts: on the first one there is the figure of the Virgin Mary with the baby, on the second - St. George and on the third - St. James.

Where to eat?

Barcelona is a city where traditional dishes are still deliciously cooked and not afraid to experiment with new combinations of ingredients. Every year hundreds of thousands of tourists come here to try potato tortilla, gazpacho and paella. We have prepared a list of gastronomic places in Barcelona.

After each trip, we all return a little different. Acquaintance with people and cities open new opportunities and give the most vivid impressions. Even one trip to Barcelona is enough to fall in love with her and promise yourself that you will return.
