If you are looking for a place where you can combine an active and relaxing holiday, take a look at the Okemo ski resort. More than 117 trails are suitable for skiers and snowboarders of different levels of training. Many tourists come here in December, to the very beginning of the season, which ends in April. For children under 6 years old there are ski schools. They can safely ride on the slopes: they are allocated a gentle area with small descents.

Okemo's highest point is 1020 meters above sea level. From the peaks you can see the neighboring cities and surroundings. For lovers of flat skiing without major differences, a wide trail of more than 26 kilometers has been allocated.

The resort is open for tourists cafes and restaurants, shops, ski equipment and, of course, souvenir. In the evening, stroll along the cozy brick houses and visit the central market, where they sell local sweets.

Closest to the resort is Burlington, the largest city of Vermont. The distance between them is 165 kilometers. The table shows several options that you can use to get to Okemo.

How to get from Burlington to Okemo?

By bus			from 3 hours 30 minutes
City, regional and long-distance flights run daily from the bus station. Okemo is served by special OkemoBus twice a day: in the morning and in the evening.
By train			from 6 hours 30 minutes
The train ride will be longer than on a bus or transfer due to transfers. From the Main Church Street station you reach the Pendium Mert stop. There, transfer to bus number 57, the next to Okemo.
Rent a car			2 hours 15 minutes
This option is several times faster than bus and train. Rent a car for those who appreciate comfortable conditions or not wants to adapt to the schedule of public transport.
