The runway is unique: it intersects with the existing highway and for a few kilometers goes into the sea. When the planes go to land or take off, the road is blocked by a barrier. In the airport building there are pharmacies, souvenir shops, Duty Free zone, currency exchange offices and a cafe. Wi-Fi is free for an hour.

How to get to Gibraltar airport from Algeciras? You can use public transport. The journey will take 2-3 hours, since several transplants are necessary.
