The driver helped me with the luggage and we drove off. I know the city very well, but he showed me several bypasses where it is possible to save time and not stand in traffic jams. The car is in good condition, the cabin is clean, the driver is polite and did not bother me with talking. You know, when you sit in a taxi, then many taxi drivers constantly impose their topics on you. There was no such situation here. Krasnoje Ozeron hiihtokeskus sijaitsee Leningradin alueella. 1990-luvulla avattuaan siitä tuli suosittu eri tasoisten hiihtäjien ja lumilautailijoiden keskuudessa. Nykyaikaisen keinolumenmuodostusjärjestelmän ansiosta kausi kestää täällä joulukuusta maaliskuuhun. Lomakeskuksessa järjestetään joka vuosi Venäjän hiihtocross-mestaruuskilpailut sekä freestyle- ja freeride-EM-kisat.

Krasnoye Ozero on paras paikka aloittelijoille. Rinteet ovat loivia ja leveitä, ilman äkillisiä pudotuksia. Niiden pituus on jopa 1050 metriä. Aloittelijoille valmistetut "vihreät" ja "siniset" radat, ammattilaiset ajavat "punaisilla" ja "mustilla" radoilla. Lapsille on avoinna hiihtokoulu, jossa oppitunteja pidetään joka päivä.

Lomakeskuksessa voit mennä kelkkailemaan tai luistelemaan, uida uima-altaassa tai rentoutua kylpylässä.

Krasnoje Ozero sijaitsee 90 kilometrin päässä Pietarista. Siellä voit varata kuljetuksen tai käyttää julkista liikennettä.
