Niсosia est la capitale de Chypre. Niсosia est la seule grande ville de l'île, située non pas au bord de la mer, mais dans la vallée de la Mesaoria. La météo à Nicosie dépend de la proximité des montagnes. La quantité de pluie et la température moyenne en hiver sont plus basses qu'en mer.

Comment se rendre à Nicosie? Il y a 49 km de l'aéroport le plus proche de Larnaca. Vous pouvez vous y rendre aisément par bus, navette ou transfert privé. Le chauffeur viendra vous chercher et vous aidera avec vos bagages. Si vous partez en vacances dans une grande entreprise ou avec des enfants, ce choix sera peut-être le plus confortable, car vous serez conduit directement à l'hôtel.

De Nicosie, vous pouvez rejoindre la mer, mais dans la capitale de Chypre, il y a de nombreux sites intéressants. L'histoire de Nicosie a commencé il y a plus de 3 000 ans. Il vaut la peine de visiter des bastions défensifs, le mur de la forteresse vénitienne, Hagia Sophia, de style gothique. En outre, le Musée archéologique de Chypre abrite des objets anciens et relativement récents, à la Galerie d'art moderne.
