공항은 1905년에 개항했고 1930년에 마지막 건설 공사가 완료되었습니다. 그 이후로 Mandelieu는 에어 프랑스 항공사의 여객기를 타기 시작했으며 오랫동안 Cote D'azur의 주요 항공 허브였습니다. 여객 수송량이 증가하면서 대형 에어버스를 탈 수 없게 되자 정기 항공편을 니스로 옮겼습니다.
