Transfer Charleroi airport - Brussels center: on the way out we took a random cab spending 200€. Mahe is een van de exotische eilanden op de Seychellen, waar elke seconde droomt om uit te rusten. 1 Indische Oceaan, 65 witte stranden met kokospalmen en een oneindig aantal fascinerende zonsondergangen - welkom in Mahe!

Mahe Airport ligt 10 kilometer van Victoria, de hoofdstad van het eiland. BusMahe stadsbussen en shuttles rijden tussen hen in. Hoe kom je sneller naar Mahe? Boek een transfer via de service GetTransfer.com. Op de site kunt u elke autoklasse kiezen en de kosten van de reis berekenen.

Dit is een populaire badplaats op de Seychellen. Elk jaar komen hier meer dan een miljoen reizigers. Er zijn 68 stadsstranden op het eiland. Bo Valon ligt in het noorden van Mahe en wordt beschouwd als de meest bezochte toeristische bestemming. Anse Intendance bevindt zich tussen exotische planten en de stranden van Anse Forbanse en Anse Royale worden als wild beschouwd, dus toeristen zijn daar zelden te vinden. Dankzij de infrastructuur kunt u windsurfen en zeevissen. Ze regelen zwemmen over lange afstanden of leren surfen op het strand van Grand Anse.

Toeristen gaan op duikexcursies. Het water op het eiland is erg schoon en bijna transparant, dus tijdens het duiken kun je koraalriffen en meer dan 100 soorten vissen bewonderen.

Er zijn nog andere interessante bezienswaardigheden. Het Museum of Natural History en de Michael Adams Art Gallery zijn open voor bezoekers. Elk weekend wordt er in Kraft Village een expositie-beurs van lokale ambachtslieden georganiseerd.

We raden een bezoek aan de Botanische Tuin en het Orchideeënpark aan, waar zeldzame soorten bloemen en planten voorkomen. De Kathedraal van de Onbevlekte Ontvangenis staat op het Centrale Plein, waar elke zondag diensten worden gehouden. Van 7.00 tot 16.00 uur is de stadsmarkt open. Hier kopen ze nationale sieraden, kleding en interieurartikelen van de Seychellen en proberen ze ook lokaal eten. U kunt op Mahe een auto met chauffeur huren om tijd te hebben om alle interessante plaatsen in comfortabele omstandigheden te inspecteren en niet afhankelijk te zijn van de dienstregeling van het openbaar vervoer.

Bussen rijden dagelijks van het centrum naar de omgeving en de stranden. De laatste vlucht loopt tot 19.30 uur. Na deze tijd kunt u een taxi bestellen of de vooraf geboekte transfer op Mahe gebruiken.
