Praslin is een van de eilanden van de archipel van de Seychellen. Er zijn geen steden en het hele gebied is verdeeld in 2 districten: Grand Anse en Be-Saint-Anne. Het hele gebied is bezaaid met hotels met zwembaden en privéstranden.

Hoe bereik je Praslin? Er zijn dagelijkse lanen op de luchthaven van Praslin en veerboten vanaf het eiland Mahe, dat op 36 kilometer afstand ligt. De vlucht duurt 20 minuten, maar de reistijd van het water is ongeveer 2 uur. De gemakkelijkste manier om bij het hotel te komen, is door te betalen.

Op de Seychellen staat dit eiland bekend om zijn twee natuurlijke monumenten: de zwarte papegaai en de kokosnoot 'Coco de Mer', die hier alleen groeit en op het eiland Curieuse.

Met de auto kun je een paar uur op en neer rond Praslin rijden, dus kies het beste strand om te ontspannen en het hele eiland in een paar uur te verkennen. Het is het beste om een auto te huren met een chauffeur op Praslin en geen zorgen te maken over de tijd die u besteedt aan het zoeken. Je blijft op de stranden die je leuk vindt. Trouwens, de meest populaire plaats aan de kust is Anse-Lazio, Anse-Wolbert staat op de tweede plaats. In het weekend op de stranden van de rest van de lokale bevolking, dus zoek schuilplaats voor de drukte op de wilde stranden van Anse-Georges of Anse-Kerlan.

In de buurt van Praslin, en de hele archipel, zijn er veel duikplekken die zelfs ervaren duikers zullen aanspreken. In de duikcentra kun je leren over de mooiste plekken om te duiken, uitrusting nemen en een instructeur inhuren.

Besteed tijd op een exotisch eiland en kan informatief zijn. Bijvoorbeeld om een uitstapje te maken naar het nationale park van Val-de-Mae. Het nachtleven van het eiland is geconcentreerd in de hotels zelf, zoals op de Seychellen om de orde en ecologie te controleren.
