Skalka Arena ski resort is located on the territory of the Kremnica hills. This is a favorite place for recreation not only for Slovaks, but also travelers from all over the world. Every year, tourists come here from December to March to ski.

Beginners and experienced skiers will love the slopes of the Skalka Skremka. They are smooth and flat. Pros will also appreciate the black tracks "Tsarska" and "Tursek." For beginners there are ski schools where you can study in a group or individually with an instructor. He will teach to fall correctly and not to be afraid of speed. For lovers of long distances, there is a running track with a length of 1.8 kilometers.

If you want to relax after a busy day in the mountains, we recommend to go to the spa, pool or restaurant. In the evening, take a walk in Skalka Arena: lights are muffled in the streets so that the stars can be seen.

Zvolen is closest to the resort. They are separated by 60 kilometers.

How to get from Zvolen to Skalka Arena?

By bus

There are no buses between the city and the resort. We recommend to book a transfer or use other types of public transport.

By train (1 hour 24 minutes)

From the main train station, the Zvolen-Skalka Arena train runs once a day. You need to go to the station "Turchek". From there, already order a transfer that takes you to the resort.
