Grandvalira is the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees, built in 2003. It is located in the small European principality of Andorra. The territory is divided into several ski areas: Pas de la Casa, El Tarter, Canillo, Encamp and Grau Roig. The season starts in late December and lasts until mid-March. Throughout the territory there is a single ski pass.
The resort will enjoy skiers of all skill levels. Green and blue trails are at an altitude of 1700 to 2000 meters, red and black from 2000 to 2500 meters. The resort has freeride trails, freestyle and bordercross zones.
On a free day, you can visit the sports complex “Palau de Gel”, where a skating rink, a swimming pool, gyms, game rooms and a spa center are available. 15 kilometers from the resort is the cozy village of Le Bons and the castle of Sant Roma de les Bons, where the XII century catholic cathedral and the fortress of the XIII century stand.
