Transfer from Grenoble to Alpe d'Huez
Reviews
Alpe d’Huez is one of the largest ski resorts in Europe. On the lifts you can reach the summits of La Villette, Pic de Pyramid or Ori-en-Oisans, the height difference of which reaches more than 2000 meters vertically. Learning to ski or snowboard, discover a freeride or conquer the black slopes can be from late December to mid-March.
Trails are divided into three levels of difficulty. The ski area "Visalp" is designed for beginners. Gentle slopes and wide plains are perfect for those who are just going to get up on skis. “Vozhani” is among the heights from 1000 to 1500 meters. Here experienced skiers or snowboarders ride. For the latter, by the way, fan-parks were built separately near the Lac Blanc mountain. But the pros choose the top of the Peak Blanc: difficult tracks, sometimes there is ice or a steep descent. Fans of extreme sports ride the slope of the “Wolf Neck”. At an angle of 40 °, it abruptly goes into the “Tunnel” route.
Nearby are the resorts of Serre Chevalier and Les-des-Alpes, which can be reached by free shuttle bus. All ski areas open access to a single ski pass. You can diversify your holiday by going to a concert of organ music in the local Catholic cathedral or in the spa center.
The best place to go to Alpe d’Huez is from Grenoble. The distance of 65 kilometers can be reached from 1 hour.
