Pulkovo Airport is located 14 kilometers from the center of St. Petersburg. This is the only air hub of the northern capital, occupying the fourth place in terms of congestion in Russia. Annually, the number of passenger traffic is over 13 million people. The airport provides domestic and international flights, more than 200 destinations from around the world. Since 2014, there are two terminals: Pulkovo-1 and Pulkovo-3. The first serves civilian flights, the second is charter and business. The first flight was made on June 24, 1932. Then the airport was called Highway, as well as the railway station, located nearby. Several years ago the terminal "Pulkovo-2", operating for international directions, was completed. Since 1976, it has been upgraded many times, but the management decided to transfer the entire passenger flow to Pulkovo-1. Aeroflot, UTair and Rossiya are the main airlines, which are based at the St. Petersburg airport and regularly fly.

On the territory of Pulkovo there are numerous cafes, restaurants and a duty-free zone, as well as three vip-zones for conferences, a mother and child room, luggage storage. In the waiting room you will find stations for charging mobile phones, cell phones, post office and car rental. Near the airport a small Orthodox chapel is built.

How to get from Pulkovo to St. Petersburg, if you first found yourself in the city on the Neva? There are at least 3 options. Bus number 39 and 39A reach from the airport to the metro station "Moskovskaya". They leave every 10-15 minutes from 6:00 to 22:30. The journey takes about half an hour. Stop - opposite the arrival hall.

Shuttles and minibuses №К39 get to the center in 20-25 minutes and operate almost constantly. You can order a taxi at the special racks at the airport, located on the second floor in the arrival hall. The prices are fixed.
