Transfer Charleroi airport - Brussels center: on the way out we took a random cab spending 200€. El Aeropuerto de Rivesaltes se encuentra a 5 kilómetros de la ciudad francesa de Perpiñán. Los pasajeros llegan aquí en vuelos internacionales, domésticos y chárter. Solo hay 1 terminal en el territorio del aerocomplejo. La zona de llegadas se encuentra en la planta baja junto a la sala de equipajes, el check in y los puntos de seguridad también se encuentran en la planta baja. El aterrizaje en sí pasa por tres salidas en el piso del sótano.

El aeropuerto de Llabanere (primer nombre) se inauguró en 1923. En los años 50, cuando aumenta el flujo turístico hacia la soleada costa de la Costa Brava, poco a poco se van incorporando los charters ingleses. El antiguo edificio de la terminal fue desmantelado y reemplazado por uno nuevo en la década de 1960.

El edificio cuenta con toda la infraestructura necesaria: cafeterías y tiendas, cajeros automáticos y cambio de divisas, resguardo de equipaje. Para la seguridad y comodidad de los pasajeros, se cuenta con el servicio de seguridad aeroportuaria, centros médicos, farmacias, salas maternoinfantiles, así como salas de espera. El Wi-Fi es gratuito en todas las áreas de la terminal. No hay hoteles cerca de Rivesaltes. El más cercano está a 5 minutos en coche del aeropuerto.
