The data on my trip to me was sent to the post: car make, license plate, driver's name. When I arrived at the airport, the car with the driver was already waiting for me. The driver helped me with the luggage and we drove off. I know the city very well, but he showed me several bypasses where it is possible to save time and not stand in traffic jams. The car is in good condition, the cabin is clean, the driver is polite and did not bother me with talking. You know, when you sit in a taxi, then many taxi drivers constantly impose their topics on you. There was no such situation here. Transfer Charleroi airport - Brussels center: on the way out we took a random cab spending 200€. El Aeropuerto Internacional de Araxos recibió su nombre en honor al cabo Araksos, que se encuentra a pocos kilómetros del centro aéreo. Como en el caso de otras aerolíneas, el aeródromo de Patras era originalmente militar. En la década de 1980, también comenzó a aceptar vuelos de pasajeros. En invierno, solo se atienden charters. Aquí, las principales aerolíneas conectan Patras con Dusseldorf, Moscú, Milán, Paphos, Praga y Stuttgart.

La terminal está abierta de 8:30 a 14:00 de lunes a viernes y fines de semana, excepto los viernes: la jornada laboral dura hasta las 21:30. Hay un pequeño Duty-Free y varias cafeterías, sala de espera y toda la infraestructura necesaria.

¿Cómo llegar al aeropuerto de Araxos? La distancia entre éste y el centro de la ciudad es de 40 kilómetros. El camino en transporte público tardará aproximadamente una hora. Sin embargo, aunque los autobuses circulan varias veces al día en ambas direcciones, a veces tienen que esperar unas horas. Para no perder tiempo esperando, pide un taxi al aeropuerto de Araxos. El conductor llegará a la dirección exacta y te llevará a la terminal en media hora.
