Donovaly es una antigua estación de esquí, ubicada en el borde de los picos de Low Tatras y Great Fatra. Después de 1945, aquí se construyó un centro deportivo, que se ha convertido en el lugar de vacaciones favorito de eslovacos y turistas. Los viajeros vienen aquí de noviembre a abril.
