Donovaly é uma antiga estância de esqui, localizada na fronteira dos picos dos Baixos Tatras e da Grande Fatra. Depois de 1945, um centro esportivo foi construído aqui, que se tornou um local de férias favorito para eslovacos e turistas. Os viajantes vêm aqui de novembro a abril. Todo esse tempo o sol está brilhando forte e há uma quantidade mínima de precipitação.

O território está dividido em duas regiões de esqui: Zahradishte e Nova Gola. O primeiro é perfeito para iniciantes e esquiadores experientes, o segundo atrairá os extremos. Especialmente para os snowboarders construiu o parque "Fan Arena", onde os trampolins foram montados e as pistas largas foram equipadas.

Em Donovaly, estão criadas todas as condições para umas férias variadas. Você pode se exercitar na academia ou relaxar no spa, jogar boliche ou jantar no restaurante.

Se você planeja ir ao território de Donoval, precisa chegar à cidade de Zvolen. Está localizado a 44 km do resort.
