On the east coast of Vermont is the Stowe ski resort. This is one of the oldest winter recreation centers: it was founded in 1934. The high season lasts from November to May: at this time, two main ski areas are open. The peaks of Mansfield and Spruce Peak are the highest mountains in Stowe. For vacationers skiers and snowboarders prepared more than 50 tracks, some even in the forest for fans of freeride.

In between skiing visit the city of the same name. It is located 11 kilometers from the resort. At Burlington Central Rail Station, select train No. 1 “Umal”. Get a transfer at Waterbury Station, you need a Stowe stop.
